2. Text message (SMS) program

Program name and description

McLean Counseling Client Messages. When you opt in by checking the text message consent box on our website or booking form, you agree to receive text messages from McLean Counseling Center at the mobile number you provided. Messages relate to your inquiry and include scheduling your free consultation, appointment confirmations and reminders, and follow-ups about your request.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies, typically up to 8 messages over the first two weeks after an inquiry, plus reminders for any appointment you book. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

How to opt out

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages unless you opt in again. Consent is optional

Do not use text messages for emergencies

Our text messages are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 or call 911.

3. Our services

The website provides general information about McLean Counseling Center and a way to request a free consultation. Submitting a form or booking a consultation does not create a provider-patient relationship. That relationship begins only after your evaluation with one of our licensed providers.
